  Materials:  
     
  Clay flower pots  
  White spray paint  
  Several shades of fabric paint  
  Sponges cut into flower shapes  
  Potting soil  
  Mums  
     
  Instructions:  
     
  Spray paint the pots with white paint. Allow to dry. Using the fabric paint, let the children sponge paint flowers around the sides of the pots. Write the childs name on the rim of each one. Allow to dry.  
     
   
     
  Fill large bowl with potting soil. Place several shovels or large spoons in each container of soil and allow children to fill their pots with the soil. Plant a mum in each pot and water. The kids now have a mum for Mom!
