c boiling water |

Combine
flour and cold water. Add to saucepan of 2 c boiling
water. Bring to boil again. Remove from heat and
add sugar. Stir until paste consistency. Cool. Tear
pieces of newspaper into strips. Dip newspaper strips
in paper mache and apply to a balloon that has been
inflated and tied. Keep applying newspaper pieces
randomly overlapping the pieces until entire balloon
has been covered. Allow to dry. Dried piece can
then be painted with desired design such as a clown
face, animal face, or just painted in pretty rainbow
colors. |
