  Apple Rolls  
     
  1/4 cup Butter  
  2 pkgs. active dry yeast  
  1 3/4 C water1/2 c buttermilk  
  8 tbsp granulated sugar  
  2 tsp cinnamon  
  1 egg 1 c wheat flour  
  4 cup all purpose flour  
  4-6 apples  
  1 egg beaten  
  2 tbsp sesame seed  
     
  Melt butter in bowl. Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add buttermilk, butter,  
  6 tbs. sugar, 1 tsp cinnamon, egg and wheat flour. Stir to blend. Add  
  white flour. Knead dough until smooth and elastic. Let rise in warm place  
  40 min.. Punch down. Peel apples. Cut into wedges. On a floured  
  board knead dough. Divide into 3 parts. Roll each out into a rectangle.  
  Cut the rectangles into 10 squares. In each square place one apple wedge  
  in the middle. Combine remaining sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle over apple  
  wedges. Fold dough over apples to completely cover. Place on greased  
  baking sheet seam side down. Brush with beaten egg. Sprinkle with  
  sesame seeds. Bake at 400 degrees for about 12 min.
