  Cherry Crisp- recipe from Carol- Montgomery, TX  
     
  1 yellow cake mix  
  2 c cherry pie fillling  
  2 sticks butter melted  
  1 c nuts- chopped pecans  
     
  Melt butter in a cake pan. Pour excess into cup. Spread cherries evenly in the bottom of the cake pan. Cover with dry cake mix and pecan pieces. Pour butter over top. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 min. Best served hot!
