Raspberry
Champagne Punch -This
one is not for the kids! |

(10 ounce) packages frozen red raspberries in syrup,
thawed |
|

1/3
c lemon juice |
|
| |
1/2
cup sugar |
|
| |
1
bottle red rose wine |
|
| |
1
quart Borden Raspberry Sherbet |
|
| |
1
bottle Asti Spumante or champagne, chilled |
|
| |
|
|
| |
Puree
raspberries in a blender. Combine pureed raspberries,
lemon juice, sugar, and wine in a large punch bowl.
Stir until sugar dissolves. Just before serving,
scoop sherbet into the punch bowl. Add the champagne.
Makes 3 quarts. |
